System and Domain Operation
TABLE 9-6 lists the function used for the system as a whole and individual domains.
Select [Operation]-[Domain Operation]-[Domain Power] in the Menu tree.
Note – In the M3000 server, the number of the target domain is one. Domain ID is
fixed to 00.
TABLE 9-7 lists the functions used for specifying each domain mode. Select
[Operation]-[Domain Operation]-[Domain Mode Configuration] in the Menu tree.

Function Remarks
System power on/off Specifies the system power on/off.
This function is equivalent to the poweron(8) /
poweroff(8) commands.
Domain power-on/off Specifies the domain power on/off.
This function is equivalent to the poweron(8) /
poweroff(8) commands.
Reset System reset, XIR reset and panic for the domain are
performed. This function is equivalent to the reset(8)
command.
Send break Specifies the send break.
This function is equivalent to the sendbreak(8)
command.

Function Remarks
Domain mode configuration/display Sets a hardware initial diagnostic level. Suppresses
the send break, Host watchdog, and automatic boot
functions. Also, displays the host ID, the domain
mode status, and domain ethernet address (mac
address).
This function is equivalent to the
setdomainmode(8) and showdomainmode(8)
commands.
On the XSCF Web, you cannot display/configure
the CPU operational mode. Use the
showdomainmode(8) and setdomainmode(8)
commands.
