CRANKSHAFT RUNOUT

Support

the

crankshaft

with

"V"

blocks as

shown,

with

the

two

end

journals

resting on

the

blocks.

Position

the

dial gauge, as

shown,

and rotate

the

crankshaft

slowly

read

the

runout.

Correct or replace

the

crankshaft

the

runout

is greater

than

the

limit.
