1A-63 Engine General Information and Diagnosis:

1 1) Remove the left side cover. Refer to “Front Side Exterior
Parts Removal and Installation in Section 9D (Page 9D-
6)”.
2) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3) Check the ISC valve coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then check the ISC valve lead wire continuity.
4) Disconnect the ISC valve coupler.
5) Check the continuity between terminals “A” and “34”,
terminals “B” and “4”, terminals “C” and “17”, terminals
“D” and “33”, terminals “E” and “4” and terminals “F” and
“16”.

Is the continuity OK?
Go to Step 2. B/Lg, R/B, P/W, G or W/
Bl wire open.
