Charging System: 1J-7
• Hold the generator rotor and tighten the generator
rotor nut to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Generator rotor nut (d): 160 N·m (16.0 kgf-m,
115.5 lb-ft)
• Apply molybdenum oil solution to the inside of the
bush.
M/O: Molybdenum oil (MOLYBDENUM OIL
SOLUTION)
• Install the dowel pins and new gasket (3).
CAUTION
!
Use a new gasket to prevent oil leakage.
• Install the generator cover and tighten the generator
cover bolts.
WARNING
!
Be careful not to pinch the finger between the
generator cover and the crankcase.
CAUTION
!
Fit the clamp to the bolt “C”.
• Apply grease to the O-ring (4) and oil seal lip.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-ring (4) with a new one.
