1 1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Check the torque sensor coupler for loose or poor
contact. If OK, measure the torque sensor input voltage.
3) Disconnect the torque sensor coupler.
4) Turn the ignition switch ON.
5) Measure the input voltage between R wire “A” and
ground. If OK, then measure the voltage at the R wire
“A” and B wire “B”.

Go to Step 2. • Loose or poor
contacts on the
torque sensor.
• Power supply circuit

satisfactory, replace
the EPS control unit
with a new one. Refer
