4-2 FUEL AND LUBRICATION SYSTEM
FUEL TANK/FUEL VALVE
REMOVAL
!
• Remove the seat. ("5-3)
• Turn the fuel valve to “OFF” position and disconnect the fuel
hose
1 from the fuel valve.
• Remove the fuel tank.
• Remove the fuel valve.
INSPECTION
FUEL VALVE
If the fuel filter is dirty with sediment or rust, fuel will not flow
smoothly and loss in engine power may result. Clean the fuel fil-
ter with compressed air.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. Keep
heat, spark and flame away.
