SPOKE NIPPLES
Make sure that the nipples are tight. If necessary, tighten them
with a spoke nipple wrench.
% Spoke nipple: 4.5 N·m (0.45 kgf-m)

EXHAUST PIPE BOLTS AND MUFFLER
MOUNTING BOLTS
Cylinder head nuts, when they are not tightened to the specified
torque, may result in leakage of the compressed mixture and
reduce output.
• Tighten the exhaust pipe bolts and muffler mounting bolts to
the specified torque.

1: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)
Muffler connecting bolt
2: 20 N·m (2.0 kgf-m)

4: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)
FRONT FORK
Inspect the front forks for oil leakage, scoring or scratches on
the outer surface of the inner tubes. If any damages are found,
replace the front fork with a new one.
REAR SUSPENSION
Inspect the rear shock absorber for oil leakage and damage. If
any damages are found, replace the rear shock absorber with a
new one.
Tighten initially at 1 000 km (5 months) and every
4 000 km (20 months) thereafter.
Inspect every 8 000 km (40 months).
Inspect every 8 000 km (40 months).
