REASSEMBLY AND REMOUNTING
Reassemble and remount the carburetor in the reverse order of
disassembly and removal.
Pay attention to the following points:

PILOT SCREW
• After cleaning, reinstall the pilot screw to the original setting
by turning the screw in until it lightly seats, and then backing it
out the same number of turns counted during disassembly.
• Install the new plug
1 by tapping into its place with a punch.
DIAGRAHM/PISTON VALVE
• When installing the piston valve, make sure the tab of the dia-
phragm is aligned with the concave section of the carburetor
body’s rim.
CARBURETOR HEATER
• Apply thermo-grease to the threads and tighten the carburetor
heater.
& 99000-59029: THERMO-GREASE
' Carburetor heater: 3 N·m (0.3 kgf-m)
* Assemble the parts taking consideration of their
function.
* Replace O-rings and seals with new ones.
