• Install the piston/cup set.
• When installing the brake light switch, align the projection on
the switch with the hole in the master cylinder.
• When remounting the master cylinder on the handlebars,
align the master cylinder holder’s mating surface with the
punched mark
A on the handlebars, and then tighten the
upper clamp bolt first.
' Master cylinder bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m)
• Install the brake hose union as shown and tighten the union
bolt to the specified torque.
' Brake union bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)
• Fill the master cylinder with brake fluid and bleed air.
