• Loosen the front fork upper clamp bolt

NOTE:
Slightly loosen the front fork cap bolt
3 before loosening the
lower clamp bolt to facilitate later disassembly.
• Loosen the front fork lower clamp bolt

NOTE:
Hold the front fork by the hand to prevent sliding out of the steer-
ing stem.
• Loosen and remove the front fork cap bolt

• Remove the spacer
6, washer
7 and spring
8.
• Invert the front fork and stroke it several times to drain out the
fork oil.
• Hold the front fork in the inverted position for a few minutes to
allow the fork oil to fully drain.
Take care so that the cap bolt does not spring out by
the force of the spring.
