• Separate the left and right crankcases with the special tool.
% 09920-13120: Crankcase separator
NOTE:
* Fit the crankcase separator, so that the tool arms are in paral-
lel with the side of crankcase.
* The crankshaft and transmission components should remain in
the left crankcase half.
* When separating the crankcase, tap the end of the counter-
shaft with a plastic mallet.
• Remove the gearshift fork shafts (
1, 2) and gearshift forks
(
3, 4).
• Remove the gearshift cam stopper spring

• Remove the gearshift cam

• Remove the gearshift fork

• Remove the driveshaft assembly and countershaft assembly.
