Outdoor
Compensation
A purpose of this function is to reduce the ventilation intensity during cold outdoor periods in
order to increase the supply air temperature and to avoid freezing of the heat exchanger.
Compensation can be applied for the supply air fan (unbalanced airflow) or both supply and
extract air fans if unbalanced airflow is not allowed.
Function linearly reduces speed of the fan by a value set in Stop Compensation Value (range:
-50% to 0%, default 0 °C) from a fixed outdoor air temperature of 0 °C to temperature set in
Stop Compensation Temperature (range: -25 °C to 0 °C, default 0 °C).
For units with plate heat exchanger it is recommended to set the Stop Compensation Value
to -20% and Stop Compensation Temperature value to -5 °C.
For units with Rotating heat exchangers it is recommended to set the Stop Compensation
Value to -30% and Stop Compensation Temperature value to -25 °C.
Important
Changing the airflow type does not change P-band value automatically. P-band value have to be changed
manually after changing the airflow type.
Demand Control
Configure indoor air quality sensors. Once sensor(s) are configured, Demand Control function is activated by choosing
AUTO mode in home screen.
• Activate or deactivate CO
2
sensor. Default setting is Off.
Set CO
2
sensor setpoint. Default setting is 800 ppm (parts per million in atmosphere). Normal atmospheric CO
2
con-
centration is 400 ppm. Range: 100–2000 ppm.
Set P-band, default setting is 200 ppm. Range: 50–2000 ppm.
