SECTION 1
Taking Delivery of Your Vehicle
You should inspect your vehicle immediately after delivery. Use the following guidelines
to inspect your vehicle for obvious problems:
n Examine the contents of all packages and accessories that may have come in
separate packages with the vehicle.
n Make sure everything listed on the packing slip is there.
n Inspect all components of the packages for signs of damage.
n Examine all visible wires and the vehicle for obvious signs of damage.
n Check that all wire connections, battery cables, etc., are secure.
n Check battery cells to be sure they are filled.
n Check the tire pressure, tightness of lug nuts and for signs of obvious
damage or wear.
n Check the operation of each of the following controls. They should operate
smoothly without sticking or requiring undue effort:
Accelerator Pedal
Brake Pedal
Forward/Reverse Selector Switch
Battery Disconnect Switch (Optional)
Key-Switch
Parking Brake
Steering Wheel
Horn
Lights
What To Do If You Find a Problem
If there is a problem with the vehicle or any of the accessories that may have been
shipped with the vehicle, file a claim with the carrier immediately. The claim must be filed
within 48 hours of receiving the vehicle and the accessories. Forward a copy of the claim
to your local Taylor-Dunn dealer.
The only personnel authorized to repair, modify, or adjust any part of this or any Taylor-
Dunn vehicle is a factory authorized service technician. All other personnel are expressly
prohibited from working on, repairing, adjusting, or modifying any part of this or any
Taylor-Dunn vehicle.
Do not attempt to modify or repair any part of this
vehicle unless you are authorized to do so. Incorrect
repairs may result in injury to yourself or others.
Incorrect or unauthorized repairs will result in the
invalidation of your warranty.
