Error Messages Description Trouble Shooting
USB stick Errors
USB stick is not
accessible
No USB stick plugged in Plug-in USB stick and wait 15 sec before
continue operation.
Write protection activated Unplug USB stick. Unlock the write protection.
Plug-in USB stick and wait 15 sec before
continuing operation.
USB stick is defect Use a PC to format a new USB stick. Create
the folders ‘mth’ and copy the needed
methods from the backup directory into this
directory. Create the folder ‘wsp’ and do the
same for needed workspaces. At the
Touchscreen replace the defect USB stick
with the new one and wait 15 sec. Retry!
‘No storage medium
found! Storing will
not be possible until
you connect the
USB stick!’
No USB stick plugged in See above!
Could not create
workspace directory:
\USB-Disk\…!’
Please note: ‘Error!
Unable to write on
USB stick. Please
make sure the USB
stick is connected
and not write
protected.’
No USB stick plugged in
Write protection activated

There is not enough space on
the USB stick to save new
data.
Save currently not needed data from the
USB stick to a PC backup directory. Delete
then the saved files on the USB stick to gain
more storage space. Retry saving.
‘An unknown error
occurred while
accessing...’
Write protection activated or
deactivated during plugged in
USB stick.
Restart the instrument.
Note: Unplug USB stick to lock/unlock the
write protection
The method defined, mostly
kinetics, needs too much
program memory so it is
impossible to save.
Cancel the saving and redefine the method
(e.g. reduce number of cycles and/or
transformations/calculations).
Undefined status after having
plugged in the USB stick.
Plug-in the USB stick and wait 15 sec before
continuing operation.
