6.6 Preventive Maintenance Plan for sunrise
This preventive maintenance plan is for standard throughput instruments. For
instruments that are used in high throughput, the maintenance intervals might be
shorter.
6.6.1 Daily
• No daily maintenance is required.
6.6.2 Weekly
• Clean the cover and the plate transport with a mild detergent.
Caution
Never use Acetone as it will damage the covers.
6.6.3 Every Six Months
• Clean the filters using an optical cleaning solution (lens tissue
recommended)
6.6.4 Yearly (Customer or Service Technician)
Either done by customer:
• Perform the QC Pac 2 Test (see QC Pac Instructions for Use)
Or done by service technician:
• Perform extended operational quality check
6.6.5 Every Four Years (Service Technician Required)
• Replace the lamp and the filters
• Perform extended operational quality check
