How to Align the Sample/Elevator Mixer Assembly
1. Make sure the mixer wheel is ush with the chassis surface. Use a straight edge to verify.
2. Remove the right-bottom side panel of the unit and set aside.
3. Remove all the vials and the carousel from the top of the Versa. Make sure the Communication Cable is connected.
4. Make sure the unit’s power switch is in the ON position.
5. Go to diagnostics in Versa TekLink™2G and move the carousel to any position except home.
6. Raise the Sample/Elevator Mixer Assembly to mix.
7. Locate the single beam optical sensor that is mounted on a bracket to the right of the elevator belt.
8. Locate the two Phillips head screws that secure the bracket and adjust the optical sensor in the direction required.
9. Tighten 2 screws and home the Sample/Elevator Mixer Assembly.
10. Visually verify that the mixer wheel is ush with chassis.
11. If all the positions look good, you are done.
12. If it is not ush, slightly adjust the sensor in the correct direction. If you get drastically o, restart from the
beginning.
13. Install the Sample/Elevator Mixer Assembly, carousel and vials back to their original position when all adjustments
are completed.
