11 Maintenance
11.1 Rechargeable battery care
Battery replacement may only be carried out by Testo Service.
At low ambient temperatures, rechargeable battery performance decreases.
This reduces the available useful life.
Do not store the rechargeable battery for long periods when discharged.
(Best storage conditions at 50-80% battery level, 10-20 °C ambient
temperature.) Fully charge before using again.
The available useful life of the rechargeable battery reduces more and more
with frequent use. If the useful life is significantly shortened, the
rechargeable battery should be replaced.
