Choosingadisplaymode
Youcandisplayyourdesktopandappsonthecomputerdisplay,theexternaldisplay,orboth.Tochoose
howtodisplaythevideooutput,pressthedisplay-modeswitchingkeyandthenselectadisplay
modeyouprefer.
Therearefourdisplaymodes:
•Disconnect:Displaysthevideooutputonlyonyourcomputerscreen.
Note:Dependingonthesituation,youmightseeDisconnect,PCscreenonly,Computeronly,or
Disconnectprojector.
•Duplicate:Displaysthesamevideooutputonbothyourcomputerscreenandanexternaldisplay.
•Extend:Extendsthevideooutputfromyourcomputerdisplaytoanexternaldisplay.Youcandragand
moveitemsbetweenthetwodisplays.
•Projectoronly:Showsthevideooutputonlyonanexternaldisplay.
Note:Dependingonthesituation,youmightseeProjectoronlyorSecondscreenonly.
Note:IfyoushowDOSorprogramsusingDirectDraworDirect3D

infull-screenmode,onlythemain
displayshowsthevideooutput.
Changingdisplaysettings
Youcanchangethedisplaysettings,suchasthedisplayresolution,fontsize,andsoon.
Tochangethedisplaysettings,dothefollowing:
1.OpenControlPanelandclickAppearanceandPersonalization.
2.ClickDisplayforfurtherconfiguration.
3.ClickApply.Thechangewilltakeeffectafteryoulogoff.
Usingaudiofeatures
Yourcomputerisequippedwiththefollowing:
•Microphones
Note:Theleftmicrophoneandrightmicrophoneautomaticallyswitchbetweeneachotherwhenthe
computerscreenrotates.
•Speakers
Note:Theleftspeakerandrightspeakerautomaticallyswitchbetweeneachotherwhenthecomputer
screenrotates.
•Comboaudioconnector,3.5mm(0.14inch)indiameter
