Why can't I access the Internet on my TM Gateway?
    • H
      Heather WillisAug 2, 2025
There could be several reasons why you can't access the internet. Check that the LED indicators on the network device connected to the wireless router are normal and that the WAN indicator is on. If the WAN indicator is off, ensure the cable connected to the WAN interface isn't loose. Also, verify that the Internet indicator is always white; if it is, the wireless router has successfully accessed the Internet. Other potential solutions include rebooting your computer, setting the device again, checking the encryption settings of your wireless network, ensuring your PC can obtain an IP address, and verifying your LAN settings do not use a proxy server.

What to do if I can't connect to the Internet through wireless connection with my TM RGX4400 Gateway?
    • K
      Kristin NavarroAug 6, 2025
If you're unable to access the internet via a wireless connection, try these steps: First, ensure the device is in a wireless-enabled area with internet access. Then, check if the wireless network adapter can connect to the corresponding station and whether the wireless channel matches your country's or zone's channel. Review the encryption settings and verify the cable is connected to the correct interface. If problems persist, try replacing the network cable connecting to the wireless router.

What to do if I can't establish a network connection with TM Gateway?
    • A
      Andrew MelendezAug 11, 2025
If you're having trouble establishing a network connection, consider these possibilities: You might be beyond the wireless coverage area—try placing the wireless router closer to the client or modifying the channel setting. If it's an authentication problem, use a cable to connect the computer to the device, check the network security settings, or reset the device by pressing the Reset button. If you can't find the device, try resetting the wireless router and testing again, check the wireless network adapter settings, and verify the SSID and encryption settings.

      Bruce GrahamAug 21, 2025
If you're unable to log in to the wireless router, check the connection between the computer and the wireless router. You can also try to ping the wireless router by choosing Start > Run from the desktop and entering ping 192.168.0.1 (the IP address of the wireless router) in the DOS window. Additionally, check the type of network cable, the connection between the wireless router and the computer, and the TCP/IP settings on your computer.
