5.5.4 FITTING A RISBRIDGER CHECK VALVE
If a Risbridger Check Valve has to be fitted to a dispenser :
• remove the check valve - for pumps with internal filters
• remove the foot valve - for pumps with external filters
5.5.5 SPIN ON FILTER (OPTION)
The installer is responsible for ensuring the following procedures are carried out
correctly, using the recommended Wix 24027 filter.
1) Within the hydraulics section, locate the spin on filter
housing and ensure all valves are in the closed position.
(Horizontal)
2) Remove the filter from its packaging and apply a film
of oil around the gasket.
3) Carefully place it in the housing and begin to tighten by
hand until the gasket has made contact. Apply another 3/4
of a turn.
Note : Do not over tighten the filter.
