TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
When any trouble occurs, review the check list below.
If, after following the instructions below, you still cannot restore the instrument to a normal condition or
if the problem does not fall into any of the categories below, contact your dealer or TOPCON office
(listed on the back cover).
Application message and remedial measure
WARNING
To avoid electric shock, do not attempt disassembling, rebuilding and/or
repairs on your own. Ask your dealer for repairs.

To avoid electric shock, do not remove the covers from the back of the
monitor and the bottom of the instrument.

Message Phenomena and remedial measure
1 This application was not setup completed
successfully.
The application program may not be set up cor-
rectly or the file may be damaged.
Re-install the application program.
2 Create Mutex Error.
Error Code: ××××
Turn on the switch of KB-50 again.
3 CC2.dll was not found. The application program is not set up correctly.
Re-install the application program.
4 Ewfapi.dll was not found. The application program is not set up correctly.
Re-install the application program.
5 Xpepm.dll was not found. The application program is not set up correctly.
Re-install the application program.
6 Error! Couldn't get CPS-ROM version.
This software may not run correctly.
• The CV power supply unit is connected to KB-50
through cable. Check whether this cable is con-
nected correctly.
• Update the version of the CV power supply unit
to the newest one.
