Verifying X63/X62
Setup
After mounting and calibrating the sensors, verify the accuracy of the
sensors and the effectiveness of communication with the GX-60
Display. Occasionally, these same verifications can be performed
after several months of use to ensure continued excavating accuracy.
For X62 only verification of the range of motion and the elevation
accuracy is necessary.
Verifying Range of Motion
Verifying the range of motion via 3DMC will ensure that all sensor
are working and communicating with the GX-60.
On the Main Screen of 3DMC, view a profile and move the various
parts of the machine.
• For the Body, tilt the machine front-to-back then left-to-right.
The on-screen graphic of the excavator should tilt in the same
directions.
It is difficult to roll the excavator. If necessary,
move the machine onto a side slope to verify the
roll.
