system.TheCAN-bussystemreducesthenumberofelectricalcomponentsand
connectionsthatareusedonthemachineandallowsthenumberofwiresinthe
wireharnesstobereduced.
TheCANidentiesthecontrollerareanetworkthatisusedontheGreensmaster.
The2twistedwiresformthebus.Thesewiresprovidethedatapathways
betweenthemachinecomponents.Theengineeringtermforthese2wiresare
CANHighandCANLow.Attheendsofthetwistedpairofbuswiresarethe
120-ohmterminatorresistors.
TheCAN-buslinkcontrolseachofthecomponentsthatrequiresonly4wires
tooperateandcommunicatetothesystem:CANHigh,CANLow,B+(power),
andground.
IMPORTANT
Theterminatorresistorsattheendsofthebuswiresarerequiredfor
properelectricalsystemoperation.
