anddisconnectthebatterypackfromthewireharness.Thiswill
preventunexpectedmachineoperation.

AdjustingtheHeight/DepthoftheGroomer
Note:Groomingisperformedabovethesoillevel.Whenadjustinggroomer
height/depth,groomerbladesshouldneverpenetratethesoil.
1.Parkmachineonlevelsurface.TurnkeyswitchtotheOFFpositionand
removekeyfromtheswitch.EnsurethatthetractionleverisintheNEUTRAL
position.
2.Disconnectthebatterypack;refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack
(page8–3).
3.Ensurethattherollersarecleanandcuttingunitissettothedesired
height-of-cut;refertoCuttingUnitOperator’sManualforcuttingunit
adjustmentprocedures.

Note:Improperorover-aggressiveuseofthegroomingreel(i.e.,toodeepor
toofrequentgrooming)maycauseunnecessarystressontheturfleadingto
severegreensdamage.Usethegroomercautiously.
5.Ononeendofthegroomingreel,measurethedistancefromthelowest
tipofthegroomerbladetotheworkingsurface.Liftandturnheight
adjustmentknobtoraiseorlowerthebladetip(Figure183).Eachnotchon
theadjustmentknobchangesthegroomerheightapproximately0.08mm
(0.003inch).
6.Repeatstep4ontheoppositeendofthegroomer.Then,checksettingon
therstsideofgroomer.Heightsettingonbothendsofgroomershould
beidentical.
