Toadjustthereelclutch,dothefollowingprocedure:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,turnthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition,
andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.Disconnectthebatterypack;refer
toConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack(page4–3).

2.Removetherubberplugfromthefrontofthetransmissiontoviewthereel
driveclutchcomponents(Figure21).
3.Releasetheclutchcablespringtensionbyremovingthereelclutchcable
fromthecastingslotofthetransmissionasfollows:
A.Loosentheupperjamnutthatsecuresthereelcabletothecastingslot
ofthetransmission.
B.Liftthecablefreefromthecastingslotofthetransmission.
4.Loosenthejamnutthatsecuresthesetscrewpositioninthereelclutch
lever(Figure21).
5.Applyalightupwardpressureagainstthereelclutchlever.
