Topreventunexpectedmachineoperationduringservice,disconnectthe
machinefromthebatterypackastherststepinanyrepair(Figure182).Once
thebatterypackhasbeendisconnected,theelectricalsystemonthemachine
canbesafelyworkedon.Duringrepairs,ensurethatyoudonotallowtoolsor
machinecomponentstocompletethebatterycircuitthatwasopenedwiththe
cableremoval.
Connectthemachinewireharnesstothebatterypackasthelaststepinany
repair.
