GreensmastereFlexmachinesisaccomplishedonaCAN-buscommunication
system.The2speciallydesigned,twistedcablesformthebusforthenetworks
usedontheeFlex.Thesewiresprovidethedatapathwaysbetweenthe
machinecomponents.Attheendsofthetwistedpairofbuscablesare120
ohmterminatorresistors
Theresistorsplugintothewireharnessinthefollowingareas:
1.OnthemainwireharnessneartheInfoCenterunderthehandleconsole
cover.
2.Onthebatterywireharnessnearthelithiumbatterypackconnection.

IMPORTANT
Theterminatorresistorsattheendsofthebuscablesarerequired
forproperelectricalsystemoperation.
TestingtheCAN-busTerminatorResistor
1.TheCAN-busterminatorresistor(Figure116)canbetestedusingadigital
multimeter(ohmssetting).LocatetheCAN-busterminatorresistorand
removethecabletiethatsecurestheresistortothewireharness.Unplugthe
resistorfromthewireharnessfortesting.
2.Useadigitalmultimeter(ohmssetting)tomeasuretheresistancevaluefor
theCAN-busterminatorresistor.Thereshouldbe120ohmsresistance
betweentheterminalsAandB.TheterminalCisnotused.
3.IfthetestingdeterminesthattheCAN-busterminatorresistorisdamaged,
replacetheCAN-busterminatorresistor.
4.Afteryoucompletethetesting,ensurethattheCAN-busterminatorresistor
isfullyinstalledintothewireharnessconnectorandsecuredtothewire
harnesswithcabletie.
