Thetractionswitchisanormallyopenproximityswitch.Theswitchisattachedto
thehandleassemblyswitchmountbracket(Figure85).
Whenthetractionengagementleverisnotengaged,theheadoftheboltinthe
tractionleverispositionedawayfromthetargetendofthetractionswitchso
thattheswitchisinitsnormalopenstate.Theheadoftheboltinthetraction
engagementleverismovedtowardtheswitchtargetwhenthetractionleveris
engagedcausingtheswitchtoclose.
