6.Carefullyslidetheelectricmotorfromthetransmission,andremovethe
motorfromthemachine.
7.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ring(item6inFigure118)fromtheangeof
themotor.
InstallingtheElectricMotor
1.ApplyalightcoatingofgreasetonewO-ring(item6inFigure118).Install
theO-ringtotheangeoftheelectricmotor.
2.Applygreasetothesplinesofthemotorshaft.
3.Positiontheelectricmotortothetransmission,alignthesplinesofthemotor
shafttothetransmissioncoupler,andinsertthemotorshaftintothecoupler.
Slidethemotorfullytothetransmissionsurface.
4.Securetheelectricmotortothetransmissionwiththe2ange-headscrews;
torquethescrewsto29to33N∙m(21to25ft-lb).
5.Connecttheelectricmotorconnectionstothemachinewireharness.
6.Connectthebatterypack;refertoConnectingtheLithiumBatteryPack
(page5–7).
