7.Removethe2bedbarpivotbolts,4metalwashers,and4plasticwashers
fromthecuttingunitsideplates.
CAUTION
Contactwiththereel,bedknife,orothercuttingunitpartscanresult
inpersonalinjury.
Useheavygloveswhenhandlingthebedbar.
8.Removethebedbarassemblyfromthecuttingunit.
9.Inspectthenylonbushings(item15inFigure159)andrubberbushings
insideplatesforwearordamage.Removethebushingsandreplaceif
necessary.
InstallingtheBedbar
1.Iftherubberbushingwasremovedfromeithercuttingunitsideplate,apply
greasetotheoutsidesurfaceofnewbushingandinstallintothesideplate.
Thebushingshouldushwiththeinsideofthesideplate.
2.Ifremoved,installthenylonbushings(item15inFigure159)withange
facingoutward.Applyanti-seizelubricanttotheinsideofangebushing.
3.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothebedbarthreadsandtheshoulderareaof
eachbedbarpivotbolt.
IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingthewashers(items7and6inFigure159),ensure
thattheplasticwashersarepositionedoneithersideofthecutting
unitsideplate(Figure160).
4.Slideametalwasher(item6inFigure159)andthenaplasticwasheronto
eachbedbarpivotbolt.
CAUTION
Contactwiththereel,bedknifeorothercuttingunitpartscanresult
inpersonalinjury.
