AdjustingtheTractionSystemforNeutral
ThetractionpedalmustreturntotheNEUTRALpositionwhenreleasedfromeither
theforwardorreverseposition.Themachinemustnotcreepineitherdirection
onlevelgroundwheninthetractionpedalisintheNEUTRALposition.Adjustthe
tractionsystemforneutralasfollows:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,loweranyattachmentsandsetthekey
switchtotheOFFposition.
2.Removethecentershroud.
WARNING
ReviewandfollowtheJackingInstructions(page1–6)beforelifting
themachine.
3.Raiseallofthewheelsoffthegroundandsupportthemachinewithjack
stands.
4.Loosenthelocknutonthetraction(piston)pumpadjustmentcam.
