IMPORTANT
Whileengagingthetractioncircuit,monitortheindicatoronthe
highowhydrauliclter.Iftheindicatorshowsred,eitherreduce
thepressureonthetractionpedalorreducetheenginespeedto
decreasethehydraulicowthroughthelter.
8.Withtheenginerunningatlow-idlespeed,slowlymovethetractionpedal
tothereversedirectionforatraction(piston)pumpfailure,ortotheforward
directionforawheelmotorfailuretoallowowthroughthetractioncircuitand
high-owlter.Keepthetractioncircuitengagedfor5minuteswhilegradually
increasingthetractionpedalpressureandtheenginespeed.Monitorthe
lterindicatortoensurethatthegreencolorisshowingduringtheoperation.
IMPORTANT
IfyouareusingalterthatisnottheTorohighowlterthat
isbi-directional,donotpressthetractionpedalintheopposite
direction.Iftheowisreversedwhenusingalterthatisnot
bi-directional,unwantedmaterialfromthelterwillagainenterthe
tractioncircuit.
9.Whenusingahighowbi-directionallter,alternatelymovethetraction
pedalinoppositedirectionswiththeenginerunningathigh-idlespeed.While
monitoringthelterindicator,continuethisprocessfor5moreminutes.
10.Shutofftheengineandremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
11.Removethehighowhydrauliclterandhydraulichosekitfromthemachine.
Flushcleanandinstallthehydraulictubepreciouslyremoved,orconnectthe
disconnectedhydraulichose.Ensurethatyouproperlytightenthehydraulic
tubeorhose;refertoInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFace
SealFitting)(page5–7).
12.Lowerthemachinetotheground.
13.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelinthetankandadjustifnecessary;referto
thetractionunitOperator’sManual.
14.Operatethemachineandcheckforleaksbeforereturningthemachineto
service.
