7.Carefullypushandtwistthespoolfromthevalvebody.
8.Beingcarefulnottoscratchthevalveborenish,removetheO-rings(spool
seals)fromtheinsideboreofthevalvebody.
9.Inspectallthecomponentsforwear,payingspecialattentiontothespool.
Signsofwearononesideofthespoolmayindicateabentspool.Inspectthe
spoolforrun-out(straightness)andreplaceitifnecessary.

RefertoFigure61forthisprocedure.
1.Cleanallcomponentsthoroughlybeforeassembly.Removeanyresidual
siliconesealerfromthevalvebodyandcap.
2.UsenewO-ringswhenassembling.CoatallO-ringsandthespoolwithclean
hydraulicuidbeforeinstallationintothevalvebody.
3.Installthespoolintothevalvebodybeforeinsertingthecampins,check
balls,springsandhexcapplugs.Assemblethecomponentsinreverseorder
ofdisassembly.
Note:Thespoolretainingringisastampedringandmustbeinstalledwith
thesharpedgeawayfromthespacer.
4.Applyathinlmofsiliconesealertotheundercutofthevalvebodybefore
installingthecap(item16).
