5.Mounttheshaftsecurelyinavisebyclampingontheclevisoftheshaft.
Removethelocknutandpistonfromtheshaft.Carefullyslidethehead
offtheshaft.
6.Takingcaretonotscratchordamagethepiston,removethewearring,seal
andO-ringfromthepiston.
7.Takingcaretonotscratchordamagethehead,removetheO-ring,back–up
ring,rodsealandwiperfromthehead.

1.Makesureallthecylinderpartsarecleanbeforeassembly.
2.CoatthenewO-rings,back–upringandothersealswithcleanhydraulicuid.
A.Carefullytthewearring,seal,andtheO-ringtothepiston.
B.Carefullyttherodseal,O-ring,back–upring,andthewipertothehead.

3.Mounttheshaftsecurelyinavisebyclampingontheclevisoftheshaft.
A.Coattheshaftwithcleanhydraulicuid.
B.Slidetheheadontotheshaft.
C.Installthepistonontotheshaftandsecurewiththelocknut.Tightenthe
locknutfrom41to47N·m(30to35ft-lb).
D.Removetheshaftassemblyfromthevise.
IMPORTANT
Preventdamagewhenclampingthehydrauliccylinderintoavise;
clamponthemountingcollaronthebarrelONLY.
4.Mountthebarrelsecurelyinavisebylightlyclampingonthemountingcollar
onthebarrel.
5.Coatallinternalpartswithalightcoatofcleanhydraulicuid.Slidethe
piston,shaft,andtheheadassemblyintothebarrelbeingcarefulnotto
damagetheseals.
Note:Wheninstallingtheheadintothebarrel,paycarefulattentiontothe
retainingringslotinthebarreltoinsurethatthebackupringdoesnotlodgein
theslot.
