7.Loosenthesetscrewssecuringtheoptionalhydraulicpumptothecoupler
andremovethepumpassemblyfromthemachine.Retrievethepumpshaft
key.
8.Ifnecessary,removethefastenerssecuringthehydraulicpumptothetorque
plateandremovethetorqueplate.
9.Inspecttherubberbushingintheenginebracketfordamageorwearand
replaceifnecessary.
10.Ifnecessary,markthelocationofthecouplerontheengineshaftandremove
thecoupler.
11.Ifthehydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromthepump,markthetting
orientationforassemblypurposesandremovethettingsfromthepump.
DiscardtheO-ringsfromthettings.
InstallingtheOptionalHydraulicPump
RefertoFigure71forthisprocedure.
1.LubricatenewO-ringsandplacethemontothettings.Ifpreviouslyremoved,
installthettingsintothepumpports;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings
(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–9).
2.Ifthecouplerwasremovedfromtheengine:
A.Installthekeyintheengineshaftandapplyathinlayerofanti-seize
compoundtotheengineshaftandkey.
B.Positionthecouplerontheengineshaftatthemarkedlocation.
C.Applymediumstrengththreadlockingcompoundandinstalltheset
screws.Tightenthesetscrewsfrom11to14N·m(95to125in-lb).
3.Ifremoved,installtheenginebracketandtightenthefastenersfrom20
to25N·m(14to18ft-lb).
4.Ifremoved,installthetorqueplatetotheoptionalhydraulicpumpwiththe
previouslyremovedfasteners.
5.Installthekeyinthepumpshaftandapplyathinlayerofanti-seizecompound
tothepumpshaftandkey.
6.Alignthetorqueplatepinandpumpshaftandslidethegearpumpintothe
coupler.
7.Applymediumstrengththreadlockingcompoundandinstallthesetscrews.
Tightenthesetscrewsfrom11to14N·m(95to125in-lb).
8.Removethecapsandplugsfromthehydraulicttingsandhydraulichoses
theninstallthehydraulichosestotheoptionalhydraulicpump;referto
InstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSealFitting)(page5–7).
9.Chargethehydraulicsystem;refertoChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page
