•Fusiblelinkatthevoltageregulator
•Redwireattheenginefuelsolenoidlead
10.Connectthefuelsupplyhoseandtheevaporativecontrolsystemventhose.
11.Connectthethrottlecontrolcabletothegovernorcontrolplateandthechoke
controlcabletothechokelever;refertoFigure16.Checkthecableoperation
toensurethechokeandthrottlelinkageisabletomovesmoothlyfromfully
opentofullyclosed.Adjustthecablesasnecessary.
12.Positionanewintakegasketontheengine.Installtheintakeelbowand
tightenthefastenersto7N·m(60to65in-lbs).
IMPORTANT
Makesurethatallaircleanercomponentsandbreathertubeare
ingoodconditionandareproperlysecuredduringassembly.Any
leaksintheairltersystemwillallowdirtintoengineandwillcause
seriousenginedamage.
13.Securethebreathertubetotheintakeelbowwiththepreviouslyremoved
hoseclamp.
14.Securetheairintaketubetotheintakeelbowwiththepreviouslyremoved
hoseclamp;refertoInstallingtheAirCleanerAssembly(page4–9).
15.Installthehitchassemblywiththeexhaustshieldandmuferguard;referto
RemovingandInstallingtheHitchAssembly(page7–22).
16.Installthebattery;refertoRemovingandInstallingtheBattery(page6–31).
17.Ensurethatallthewires,fuellines,hydraulichoses,andcablesareclearof
movingpartsandsecuredtotheiroriginallocations.
18.Checktheengine-oillevelandadjustifnecessary.
19.Starttheengineandcheckforfuelleaks.Repairanyleaksasrequired.
20.Installanypreviouslyremovedrearattachments.
