8.Disconnectthehosefromthettingattheuidcooler,theninstallateetting
withthepressuregaugebetweenthettinganddisconnectedhose.
9.Disconnectthehydraulichoseatthehydraulictubeabovethefrontwheel
motor.Useanadditionalhydraulichosetoinstallthetestertotheexposed
ttings.Makesurethetesterisinstalledinthecorrectowdirection(toward
thefrontwheelmotor)andthetesterowcontrolvalveisfullyopen.
10.Attachaheavychaintotherearofthemachineframeandanimmovable
objecttopreventthemachinefrommovingduringtesting.
11.Blockthefrontwheelwithchockstopreventthewheelfromrotatingduring
testing.
12.Starttheengineandrunitatlow-idlespeed.Correctanyhydraulicuidleaks
atthetestconnectionsbeforecontinuingthetest.
13.Setthethrottletothefullspeed(3,400to3,500RPM).Verifytheengine
RPMatthedrivehubsorrubbercouplingwithanon-contacttachometer
(phototach).
14.Makesurehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperaturebyoperatingthe
machineforapproximately10minutes.
15.Recordthereadingonthepressuregaugeattheuidcooler(notthepressure
gaugeontheowmeter).Thechargepressure(withoutload)shouldread
approximately690kPa(100psi).Ifthechargepressurespecicationisnot
met,considerthefollowing:
