8.Installthecartridgevalve:
A.LubricatethenewO-ringsandthebackupringsofthesealkitwithclean
hydraulicuidandinstallthemonthecartridgevalve.TheO-ringsand
thebackupringsmustbearrangedproperlyonthecartridgevalvefor
properoperationandsealing.
IMPORTANT
Usecarewheninstallingthecartridgevalve.Slightbendingor
distortionofthestemtubecancausebindingandmalfunction.
Makesurethatdeepwellsocketfullyengagesthevalvebase.
B.Lubricatethethreadsonthecartridgevalvewithcleanhydraulicuid.
Threadthecartridgevalvecarefullyintothecorrectmanifoldport.The
valveshouldthreadineasilywithoutbinding.
C.Tightenthecartridgevalveusingadeepwellsockettothetorque
specicationshown.
D.Forsolenoidvalves,slidethesolenoidcoilontothecartridgevalve.
Tightenthecoilnutto6.7N∙m(60in-lb).
9.Ifaproblemstillexists,removethevalveandcleanitagainorreplacethe
valve.
