1.Toholdtherollershaftstationarywhileremovingthebearinglocknut,install
a3/8-24UNF2Bscrewwithajamnutintothethreadedendoftherollershaft
andtightenthejamnutagainsttherollershaft.Removethebearinglocknuts.
2.Carefullyinspecttheseatingsurfaceandthreadsofthebearinglocknuts
andreplacethemifdamaged.
3.RemovetheanddiscardtheV-rings.
4.Looselysecuretherollerassemblyinabenchviseandlightlytaponthe
rollershafttoremovethesealsandbearings.Discardtheseals.
5.Cleanandcarefullyremoveanycorrosionfromthebearingcavitiesofthe
roller.
