theshaft.Centerthebladesandspacersontheshaftbyadjustingthe
locknuts.
E.Usethethroughholesinshafttopreventtheshaftfromrotatingand
tightenthesecondlocknutto42to48N∙m(31to35ft-lb).After
tighteningthelocknut,spacersshouldnotbefreetorotateandthe
groomerbladesshouldbecenteredontheshaft.
7.Installthegroomerreelbackontothecuttingunit;refertoInstallingthe
GroomerReel(page9–15).
InstallingtheGroomerReel
1.Positionthecuttingunitonalevelsurface.Ifthecuttingunitisattachedtothe
tractionunit,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Positionthegroomerreelbetweenthegroomerdrivenandstubshafts.
3.Securethegroomerreeltothecuttingunitwiththe4jamnuts,4bolts,and4
shaftclamps.Tightentheboltsfrom5to7N∙m(45to60in-lb).
4.Checkthegroomerreelheightandmowerheight-of-cutsettingsandadjust
asnecessary.
