*l Stapler carrier shaft
Apply an adequate amount of white grease (Molykote EM-30L) to the entire stapler carrier shaft [1].

1. Take off the junction box unit. (Refer to “MJ-1106 Service Manual chapter4.)
*If the hole punch unit is installed, take it off beforehand.
2. Apply oil as follows through the opening which shows up when the junction box unit has been
removed.
Apply an adequate amount of white grease (Molykote EM-30L) to the gear teeth of the rack gear [1]
which drive the aligning plate, and the entire finishing tray shaft [2].
