The count direction defines whether ascending position values are output from the
measuring system if the measuring system shaft rotates clockwise or counter-
clockwise (view onto the measuring system flange connection).

Defines the functional scope of the measuring system. Class 2 switched off means
only Class 1 functions are active in the measuring system; it does not scale the
position value and is not adjustable.
