A-6
Panel Indication for Abort Switch Active. Actuation of an abort switch during normal,
non-alarm standby condition, or during an active, acknowledged alarm, will cause the “Abort
Active” LED to flash and the sounder will sound steadily until ACK is pressed. After the
ACK button is pressed, the “Abort Active” LED will remain ON steady as long as the abort
switch is pressed.
Actuation of an abort switch during a non-acknowledged alarm will cause the “Abort Active”
LED to flash. The sounder will continue to pulse until the higher priority alarm condition has
been acknowledged.
Operators should be made aware that if the alarm is verified to be false, clearing the alarm
condition and resetting the system prior to releasing the abort switch prevents agent discharge.
Performing a lamp test lights all of the LEDs on the system and allows you to verify that all of the
system’s LEDs are functioning.
To perform a lamp test, press and hold the ACK button for a duration of five seconds.
