Programmable keys
Programmable keys are available to you in the left panel of the display, in the Favourites menu or
on an optionally connected OpenScape Key Module 600  page 65.
Programmable keys in the left panel
The OpenScape Desk Phone CP700/CP700X comes with 6 illuminated, free programmable keys
permanently in the left panel.
To program a Function key in the left panel, perform the following steps:
Hold down the Function key in the left panel to which you want assign a function, e,g., to activate
/ deactivate second call (Call waiting), until the programming prompt is displayed.
Press the second Softkey “Assign telephony function”.
