3.4.1 Verifying tightness of cable glands
Adjustable wrench
To maintain enclosure tightness and provide strain relief to the cables, all cable glands must be
tightened. Unused cable glands must remain plugged.
1. Check every cable gland that is in use:
a. Pull on the cable to verify that the cable is securely held by the cable gland.
b. Tighten the cable gland if the cable moves.
2. Check that every unused cable gland is plugged and tightened.
3.4.2 Attaching grounding
4-mm Allen key, provided
To ensure that the transmitter operates as intended, Vaisala recommends grounding the
transmitter. Connect the grounding terminal on the bottom of the transmitter to the grounding
element of the installation site with a grounding wire.
Alternatively, you can ground the transmitter from the inside using the designated terminal in
the power supply input terminal block.
