7.3.3.1 Analog output adjustment example
Always switch o the transmitter power supply when connecting or
disconnecting screw terminal wiring. Do not energize the transmitter power
supply when wiring is not connected.
CAUTION!
To test and adjust the voltage output level of the transmitter's analog output 1 with the
Indigo80 handheld indicator:
1. Switch o the transmitter power supply and open the transmitter cover.
2. Connect the multimeter wiring to analog output 1 screw terminals and close the
transmitter cover.
3. Power on the transmitter and connect the transmitter to the indicator.
4. Open the main menu by pressing .
5. Select Devices. If you have more than one device connected to the indicator, make a
further selection between the devices.
In this case, select Indigo300.
6. Select Calibrate / Adjust.
7. Scroll down and select Analog output 1 adjustment.
8. Enable the adjustment mode with the Adjustment mode on/o selection.
9. Start the low point output test by selecting Output low point > OK.
The analog channel starts to send the low point test output (1 V in this example).
10. After the low point test output has stabilized, check the multimeter reading. Let the test
stay in progress and press
to return to the previous menu level where you can enter the
reading to Indigo80.
Do not stop the test at this point.
11. After pressing , enter the reading of the multimeter to Indigo80:
a. Select Measured value, low point.
b. Use the arrow buttons to set the reading, and then select Set.
