2 General description
Usage The CTC II is a service diagnostic system (SDS) which uses
a test device by Continental Trading GmbH.
The test device has been designed for the inspection,
commissioning and programming of tachographs, in
accordance with legal regulations.
The CTC II meets the following requirements:
• EMC Directive 2004/108/EC.
• Electrical equipment designed for use within certain
voltage limits 2006/95/EC.
• Radio equipment and telecommunications terminal
equipment and the mutual recognition of their conformity
1999/5/EC.
2.1 Features of the CTC II
You can carry out the following measurements and
inspections on tachograph equipment in the vehicle:
• Determination of wheel circumference "L"
• Determination of the characteristic coefficient "W"
• Device checks
• Programming.
