MAINTENANCE
Front Brake Pad Replacement
1. Loosen and remove the two allen head bolts [Fig. 10] attaching the
front brake caliper to the fork leg.
2. Remove the caliper [Fig. 10] from the wheel and rotor.
3. Push the caliper pistons all the way in, to remove the existing pads
and allow for new pads to be installed.
4. Check the level in the brake fluid reservoir as this operation causes
the level to rise.
5. Loosen and remove the two allen head brake pad pins [Fig. 11] from
the back of the caliper.
6. Remove the worn pads and replace them with new pads.
