Monitoring the hydraulic oil filter
The following indicator lights and indicators are located on the gauge and
monitor contamination of the hydraulic oil filter and the oil temperature:
• Warning light 43 temperature
• Warning indicator G/2 – dirt in hydraulic oil filter
• Warning indicator G/5 – hydraulic oil temperature
If the warning light 43 (in the gauge) lights up in connection with the
warning indicator G/5 in the digital display of the gauge, then the operating
temperature of the hydraulic oil is too high
– see chapter 4 “Warning light (red) – temperature” on page 4-35.
► Check the hydraulic oil level (too little oil in the hydraulic oil reservoir).
► The filter element or the hydraulic oil is dirty and must be replaced by
an authorized service center.
If the warning indicator G/2 lights up in the digital display in the gauge, the
oil-flow resistance in the return filter is too high.
► The filter element is dirty and must be replaced by an authorized
service center.
When the weather is cold, the warning indicator G/2 may light up
immediately after turning on the machine. This is caused by increased oil
viscosity. In this case, set engine speed so that the indicator
does not illuminate.
