Improper End Posions
Error Descripon Cause

Gate posion too far
open.
Too small a parameter value for upper emergency
limit switch.
Value of parameter P�233 (limit switch band) too
small.
Mechanical adjustments potenally required.

Gate posion too far
closed.
Too small a parameter value for lower emergency
limit switch.
Lower limit switch range (limit switch band) too
small.
Mechanical brake defecve or improperly set.
Posioning Errors in Gate Movement
Error Descripon Cause
F�020
Run me exceeded
(during opening, closing
or deadman).
Current motor run me has exceeded set maximum run
me, gate may be scking or is blocked.
F�030
Motor Stall Usually caused by an obstrucon blocking the gate
movement or the motor brake (24VDC) not geng power,
thus not releasing, and stalling the motor. Inspect for:
Mechanical wear and tear.
Gate or motor blocked by obstrucon.
Too lile speed.
Absolute or incremental encoder not ghtened
suciently in its mounng.
Wrong posioning system selected (P.205).
Failure of relay to brake or failure of brake.

Detected rotaonal
direcon deviates from
expected.
Commonly caused by mechanical wear and tear.
When using incremental encoders: Channel A and
B reversed.
Motor rotaon direcon reversed compared with
calibraon seng.
Too much “pancaking when starng, brake
releases too soon, or too lile torque; adjust
boost as necessary.

Breakaway Failure This funcon is NOT USED. Ensure Parameter P�870 is set
to zero.
